Working for the Manhattan Sailing School is the opportunity of a lifetime! Sailing out of Jersey City, our sailing instructors get to sail on the New York Harbor. Our sailing location is just next to the infamous Statue of Liberty which boasts strong winds and fantastic waters for sailing. As a sailing instructor, you will be taking groups of 4 sailing aboard a J24 to earn their ASA 101 certification. Classes run for two days and are intensive courses where instructors will need to be on their A game.

Basic Sailing Instructor Qualifications: 

• A strong sailing resume
• Passion for sailing
• Personality that takes initiative
• Enjoy working with people
• Instructor Certification- ASA 201 (we host a certification course)
